Ron Block to Release Hogan’s House of MusicSeptember 25
First Solo Instrumental Album for 14-Time Grammy Winner
 
 
NASHVILLE, TENN. (July 21, 2015) – Widely respected banjo and guitar player Ron Block will release Hogan’s House of Music, his first instrumental album, Friday, September 25. Block is a 24-year member of Alison Krauss and Union Station.

Named for his father’s music store in Lawndale, CA, Hogan’s House of Music features guest appearances by (in alphabetical order) Barry Bales, Sam Bush, Tim Crouch, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Mark Fain, Clay Hess, Byron House, Sierra Hull, Rob Ickes, Alison Krauss, Adam Steffey, Jeff Taylor, Dan Tyminski, and Lynn Williams.
The album was self-produced by the Grammy, CMA, Dove, and International Bluegrass award winner and engineered by Brandon Bell (Earl Scruggs, Zac Brown Band, Dierks Bentley) at Southern Ground Recording Studios in Nashville.

The multi-instrumentalist and singer is currently on the road with Alison Krauss and Union Station as they wrap up the Willie Nelson and Family tour.
